available to Florida’s returning veterans and their families. There are many federal, state and
local agencies available to assist you and your family as you transition out of the military.
We recommend starting with your local county veteran service office.
Staff members provide free service to veterans seeking information on federal, state and local
benefits, education, employment opportunities and long-term health services earned by virtue of your military service.
Other veteran service organizations have local representatives who provide similar free services.
In addition, the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs has veterans’ claims examiners at all major VA facilities
throughout the state to assist you at no cost. |
